Analysis of Pendant-Supported Latticed Crane Booms

Abstract
The mathematical equations that describe and predict deflections and stresses in both the vertical and horizontal planes of a pendant-supported latticed crane boom are developed in this paper. The effects of configuration, structural weight, applied loads, and eccentricity are considered in the analysis.
