Abstract
“ Noise pollution,” like “ air pollution,” is beginning to attract the attention of regulatory agencies. Reducing the outside noise level of automobile exhaust systems is an increasing concern to engineers and designers. This paper discusses new methods of reducing noise levels and utilizing new devices and materials for measuring firing and sound level frequencies.
