Abstract
The primary purpose of this program was to evaluate the general performance of long life type oils in the Montreal police car fleet. Over the years, as the size of the fleet had expanded and the individual car mileage diminished, the drain period between oil changes had to be reduced. The results obtained definitely showed advantages in the use of a long life type oil, with economic and technical benefits.
