Abstract
The major considerations of photographic instrumentation as it applies to the motion picture have been presented and briefly discussed. Specific applications of photographic instrumentation in the automotive industry, and its role in problem solving are outlined.
Often photographic instrumentation is called on as a last resort but it will only provide maximum effectiveness when it is applied as an integral part of the organized research and development program.
