Abstract
Measurement system error is considered from the standpoint of processing dynamic calibration data and applying corrections to measured test data. The sinusoidal and random modes of calibration are treated together with frequency and time domain modes of correction. Examples of system noise detection are discussed. Digital techniques for efficient and accurate analysis and synthesis, with examples of their effectiveness with actual measurement systems, are also presented.
