Of great interest in the automotive industry is the application of network planning to new model development. This paper discusses a similar application with regard to a new commercial air conditioner produced by Chrysler Corp. This project not only involved the basic design effort but all the tooling, purchasing, costing, plant rearrangement, and marketing efforts.
