Abstract
Design charts for several types of structures subjected to an acoustic environment are presented, and the principles and assumptions which entered into their development are discussed. The charts, from data developed by the Douglas Aircraft Co. primarily for the DC-8, are previously unpublished. A note on the applicability limits of the charts is included.
