Abstract
SUMMARY
An examination of the engine cleanliness characteristics of crankcase lubricants measured in field tests in passenger cars, taxi-cabs, light delivery trucks, and heavy-duty gasoline engine trucks has failed to disclose a relationship with the deposits formed in laboratory Caterpillar diesel engine tests.
