Abstract
Three main problems were encountered in the development of the B-52 pneumatic ducting system. These were (a) duct stability and squirming of expansion bellows, (b) expansion bellows failure due to internal airflow, and (c) development of a satisfactory flange-gasket combination for duct joints. These problems and their solutions are described.
