Abstract
Now a days with the trends of the Automotive industry and the more intelligent and advance vehicles, package of electrical modules has become a challenge. The increase in the numbers of modules and the decrease in the package space due to design trends and disruption in new technologies make the engineers look for new zones to package and new challenges need to be overcome and solve.
In order to evaluate surrounding package on modules which are mounted on the Roof zone of automotive vehicles CAE Thermal Management simulation process takes a critical role to asses multiple configurations (colors, geometries, materials, etc) as well as multiple solar load conditions, which represent a typical operation of a vehicle. This takes high importance because it might determine the correct operation of some features that are vital for vehicle and in some cases it could depend even for customer safety.
Thru this paper it is discuss the CAE method correlation with Radiation Chamber and its prediction capability as well as the method application in future vehicle programs development.
