Abstract
In order to improve the drivability of passenger cars with dual clutch transmission (DCT) and reveal the criteria for objective evaluation criteria and characteristic index and feature index division of vehicles under specific working conditions, a drivability evaluation system that integrates data-driven and the consistency between subjective and objective is proposed. At first, combined with the control principle and dynamics theory of specific working conditions, a quantitative index system of vehicle drivability is constructed, including three modules: data source, evaluation working conditions and objective indicators. Then, a novel intelligent drivability objective evaluation tools (I-DOET) is designed, including data acquisition, de-noising, working condition recognition, feature extraction and automatic scoring. What's more, aiming at the coupling problem of objective indicators in drivability evaluation, a method combining principle component analysis (PCA) and expert experience judgement is proposed to simplify the objective indicators. Finally, upshifting condition is taken as a case study, the subjective and objective consistency evaluation results are used to explore the reliability of objective drivability evaluation index and its classification criteria for passenger car with DCT. The real vehicle test results verify the scientific and effectiveness of the objective evaluation model which integrated data-driven and the consistency of subjective and objective, the importance of objective indicators are revealed which is used to provide theoretical and experimental basis for drivability adjustment and optimization.
The integrated data-driven and the consistency of subjective and objective drivability evaluation model proposed in this research can be used as an important reference for drivability evaluation of passenger cars with DCT, and also provides a theoretical basis for drivability evaluation of heavy duty vehicles, new energy vehicles and autonomous vehicles.
