Snowmobii 2.0 (Snow mobility Unmanned Vehicle)

In this paper we propose the snow mobility vehicle in order increase the mobility and decrease the risk of accidents for carry food and medicines on snow bounded areas using unmanned tracked vehicle called as snowmobii 2.0. Our unmanned tracked vehicle can transport Food/medicines as well as Defence in snow bounded areas. This unmanned robot can run in loose as well as hard snow due to it have specific featured technology in base wheel(track wheel system) such as hub with outer seals that improve its durability. The proposed snow mobility vehicle is consist of many sophisticated-designed systems such as navigation system, obstacle detection system, communication system, temperature sensing system. Snowmobii 2.0 is easy to get command and enable significant reduction in losses of many solder’s precious lives due to unavailability of food and medicines at that place. An unmanned tracked vehicle (snowmobii 2.0) is actively being developed for military use to perform various task like mobility on snow surface, carry food/medicines, defence etc.Predominantly this vehicle is used to replace human movement at hazardous place. It have specific design such as lightweight articulated chassis, track wheel system, storage for carrying food/medicines, unmanned gun on the top of that vehicle. Snowmobii 2.0 can work effectively in environmental extremes such as cold weather and easily movable on loose snow as well as hard snow. Besides this our unmanned tracked vehicle can also do many of activates like use for conducting GPR surveys of cracks and crevasses over ice crusts that cannot support foot travel, collecting snow samples and carrying out sub-surface experiments with penetrometers, GPS mapping of avalanche debris and assisting in avalanche victim search etc. Thus, snowmobii 2.0 can be used to augment the military’s capability in snow bounded terrains. In general, snowmobii 2.0 is autonomous unmanned tracked vehicle controlled by itself. After getting all command which provided by the operator based upon sensory feedback from either visual observation or remote sensory input such as video cameras and Using the multiple sensor, the snowmobii 2.0 vehicle have ability to obtain direction and view critical information in a timely manner, and snowmobii 2.0 can especially to obtain this information from areas that would be considered to be high risk. For make it autonomous vehicle arduino also used as microcontroller. This microcontroller is connected with many modules to perform complete operations. Power is supplied to the system from power module with voltage regulator. Communication module having GSM and GPS modules includes with video camera. Sensor modules including PIR, Metal Detector, TEMP. Sensor and buzzer etc. Another module is obstacle detection module in which an integrated circuit of infrared and ultrasonic sensor. As we specified our system is multipurpose robot mobility over snow as well as defense operation so an unmanned gun driver module is also assembled with this unmanned tracked vehicle.
