Abstract
In the paper solution of the proportional EGR valve is proposed. There is a prototype construction of an electronically controlled EGR with freely programmable openness steps. As feedback signal to control the openness steps of recirculation valve is used an NOx sensor placed at engine outlet pipe. The EGR module is equipped with own integrated microcontroller with feedback loop of the positions sensor signal. This allows to a precocious control of the EGR recirculation rate. Complete EGR system is equipped with advanced control algorithm with plant identification MIAC. In the paper research results of ecological properties of engine as NOx and PM emission are also included.
