Some papers had reported the performance of fuel consumption for DME engine on full load condition. This paper reports that low rail pressure is effective for improving fuel consumption of DME engine on part load or part speed conditions with engine test. And considering low rail pressure as long injection period, injection performance test data (injection rate, period) with different spray hole area nozzles show the possibility of improving fuel consumption of DME engine.
