The Study of NOx Reduction Using Plasma-Assisted SCR Systems for a Heavy-Duty Diesel Engine

To reduce NOx emission from a heavy-duty engine at low temperature conditions, the effect of plasma-assisted selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems were studied. NOx reduction performance was improved by the plasma-assisted SCR system at low temperature conditions. The paper reports the effect and issue of the plasma-assisted SCR system for a heavy-duty diesel engine.
