Experimental Evaluation of Exterior Noise Contribution

In order to evaluate the application of the exterior noise contribution using simulated indoor pass-by measurement, several experiments are performed with Source Substitution Method.
The arrayed microphones, which are covering the object (passenger's car), measure the exterior noise emitted under the acceleration condition in the anechoic test lab with chassis dynamometer. The FRF (Frequency Response Function) among the arrayed microphones and the indicator microphones, which are located to the source positions, will be used for the contribution analysis of each noise source.
In this paper, the evaluation method is introduced and also the experimental evaluation results are discussed.
