Abstract
This paper shows the potential of a sideslip angle estimator on a software integration platform. The approach of sideslip angle estimation is based on the equations of rigid body movement and the measurement of vehicle motion in all six degrees of freedom. As no vehicle or tire models are required, the approach is robust with respect to the vehicle and environment parameters. As an AUTOSAR compliant integration platform, the Domain Control Unit (DCU) is used.
