Abstract
The fundamental cause of right-angle collisions at non-signalized intersections is the driver's incorrect awareness of potential hazards. In our previous study, we proposed a driver safety educational method based on actual driving behaviors, including driver diagnosis for possible accidents due to those causes called 'inner factors.' We educated normal drivers using the method and conducted an experiment to evaluate its short-term effects on improving unsafe driving behaviors and inner factors. After six months, we again conducted the same experiment to evaluate the behaviors of some subjects who participated in the previous experiment. In this paper, we confirm the long-term effects.
