Abstract
The purpose of this study is to reveal the relationships between unsafe driving behaviors and right-angle collisions based on the actual driving data. By using various combinations of unsafe driving behaviors, we conduct driving simulation to evaluate the possibility of causing right-angle collisions under various dangerous situations. We also conduct multiple regression analysis using the simulation results and examine the relationships between three patterns of right-angle collisions and unsafe driving behaviors. Finally, we identify the inner factors that cause unsafe driving behaviors and consider concrete educational points for each driver.
