Abstract
This paper presents a review of different test rigs and transducers developed by various researchers to measure performance parameters in dynamically loaded journal bearing. The paper also highlights different factors like bearing housing deformation, non circularity of bearings, surface roughness and non-Newtonian characteristics of fluids in development of the test-rigs.
