Abstract
Essentially, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is to a company's product value chain (Engineering IP) what Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is to its inventory and manufacturing processes. This paper's intent is to provide insight into today's global business platform, and how having the proper strategy with a scalable PLM solution will provide both short and long term value.
