Abstract
A process of vehicle exterior development using Design of Experiment (DOE) is discussed. A combination of digital morphing, simulation and optimization tools were used. The process was applied on a SUV model. The results were compared with wind tunnel test data and the correlations were found to be very good. The advantages of this methodology are significant relative to conventional development processes.
