Abstract
Post harvest handling of agricultural products plays an important role in modern agricultural production. Most losses of agricultural products occur during transport since these products are subject to serious physical damage from vibration and shock from rough roads. The final goal of our study is to develop the packaging and container method of strawberries without generating any transport losses. In this paper, as a first step, we examine the truck bed vibration on the strawberry packages theoretically with the essential model. Here our theoretical analysis is not to obtain the solution for the complicated truck bed vibration carrying strawberry packages from a viewpoint of multi-degree-of-freedom system, but to explain the outbreak mechanism of distribution losses.
