Abstract
ONDAS Media S.A. (ONDAS) is planning to bring over 150 channels of unique, pan-European and regionalised programming and data services to vehicles, portable and home radios across Europe in a bold move to capture the nascent European market for satellite media.
Although similar in concept to satellite radio in America, which has already seen explosive growth, the ONDAS system will have lower costs and more sophisticated hardware and content than available today in the US.
Users will need only micro-sized antenna for no-fade reception even on the move as a result of a breakthrough in technology.
The driver for the new system will be programming content and ONDAS will provide a broad and unique mix of many music categories, entertainment, global and local news, sports, weather, and data services that European users have never enjoyed before, all in the same service and for a single price.
