Shock absorbers for HCV have to serve a number of purposes in different markets and market segments. There is the need for increased product life to reduce life cycle cost, but at the same time the price is under constant pressure.
Regional markets with different expectations and technological maturity require specific solutions. Complexity is always a challenge and has to be closely watched.
This paper shows the typical product range and describes technical solutions that have shown to cover well the different vehicle applications and regional markets.
