Abstract
This paper describes a new topology for systems having a plurality of Motor current control processors (MCCP’s) in one motor or actuator system. This topology can be named “full system standby”, indicating that an active MCCP handles the whole power electronics system and that the MCCP’s are waiting in line; should the active MCCP fail, another can take over control.
