Abstract
The unique features, capabilities, and limitations of two personal air vehicles are discussed. Springtail EFV is a single operator aircraft that supports the pilot in a standing position. Dragonfly UMR is a two-seat vehicle that features a fully enclosed cockpit. Both aircraft use a core technology of dual ducted fans that has been developed over the last nine years under the auspices of NASA and DARPA.
