Biodegradation of Disposed Means of Personal Hygiene

Abstract
Disposed sanitary hygiene wipes, used in spaceflight were subjected to microbial decomposition using thermophylic anaerobes. The results reveal diminution of dry mass to 6-12 % from initial values.
