Abstract
There are three steps to establish the virtual proving ground. First make up the VPG screen with 2D and 3D graphics by using MultiGen Crater™. Then the graphics and model were loaded and the virtual testing ground similar to the real world was created through the OpenGVS software. The vehicle model is disassembled into six parts according to the freedom degrees to ensure its reasonable movement while running in the virtual test ground. Finally the established vehicle model is tested.
