Abstract
An experimental protocol and device were setup in order to record the automobile accessibility movement and a biomechanical human model composed of articulated rigid bodies was proposed to reproduce it. From the trajectories of the hands and the feet, an optimization method is applied to each kinematic chain of the model to find the joint angles. It minimizes, for each phase of the automobile accessibility movement, the Euclidian distance between the real and simulated trajectories of the hands and the feet. The constraints take into account the extremes of the experimental joint angles values and the maximum joint variation between two consecutive instants. The first results show that the simulated trajectories of the end effectors fit to the real trajectories but a difference between the computed and simulated joint angles remains.
