Abstract
Questions about cost reduction and the need for driver assistance systems forcefully drive the trend towards wire-controlled components.
Electrical distribution systems and architectures in today's vehicles have been developed in an evolutionary process, in respect to the needs concerning reliability and safety.
To ensure the mandatory reliability and functional performance of future cars this lecture describes example-based methods and tools to generate an optimized solution on system level.
