Abstract
This paper is an attempt to provide developers of technical training and engineers information to design, implement and validate technical training for technicians who maintain and repair vehicle components and systems. The 21st Century will present new challenges to technicians with the introduction of new powertrain components, control systems and fuels. The engineer and technician will be faced with new challenges to maintain and repair these new vehicles.
