Abstract
A vacuum brake booster is required to have not only the conventional servo function but also an emergency assist function and an automatic pressurizing function. We have proceeded with development based on the basic concept for application of jump-in characteristics of the booster and have successfully developed and commercialized a booster capable of meeting various requirements, which we hereby report.
