Abstract
The NVH advanced technology has been supporting the Automotive Engineering to eliminate the sources of noises and vibration and at the same time customer's expectations have become stricter. Customers expectations and Market Competition have been driven the Automakers to add more value to its products with improved Safety, Different Styles, More Engine Power, Better Fuel Economy, Better Drivability, Improved NVH, etc. Most of the OEM's are facing Steering Wheel Nibble issues and on most of the cases the component supplier is called to fix a vehicle level system issue. Looking for a continuous customer satisfaction a steering gear supplier has performed a DOE that considered steering gear major components in order to consolidate a best component design
