Abstract
An approach aimed at improving the safety of a given system with operators in the loop may get advantages from building a mathematical descriptive model of human activity. This includes modeling the discrepancies so as to take into account the positive and negative feedback. In this paper, our contribution consists in: 1) the description of a general “experience feedback” approach dedicated to military flight safety, 2) the definition of a descriptive model of the pilot's activity and its application to the landing phase, 3) the definition of a formal model dedicated to the explanation of differences and similarities which provides an answer to the issue of discrepancies.
