Abstract
Brake systems are a combination of different components with their respective functions. Independent optimization of these components usually requires multiple iterations. Developing a complete brake system will integrally allow additional opportunities to improve performance, comfort, development lead time and warranty cost. New methods in product design, simulation and validation have been developed and applied to series projects.
