Abstract
This study is an approach on how to use spinal and pelvic posture in order to understand sitting comfort. Then the aim of this study is to define postural types with respect to standing and sitting positions as well as morphology. Fifteen healthy subjects were measured in standing and sitting position. Thanks to a prediction model of spinal and pelvic posture, subjects were defined in both positions and categories of postural behaviour have been determined. Positions were defined considering sacral-slope and lumbar lordosis angles. All the subjects belong to four categories of postural behaviour in each position.
