Abstract
The Command and Control (C2) Systems being used by Army Watercraft are outdated and difficult to maintain. The Army's Tank-automotive & Armaments Command (TACOM) is working with the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Carderock Division (NSWCCD) to develop a state-of-the-art system to be used by Harbormasters in managing port operations. The system, known as the Harbormaster Command & Control Center (HCCC), will provide greatly enhanced capabilities and it features an application of the latest technology in communications & radar components and an open system architecture. Research and development of the system has progressed to the point where a prototype is currently being designed and fabricated.
