Abstract
The chicken or the egg, which came first? The same question applies to military needs and technologies. It is certainly an iterative process between the Forces, their acquisition agencies and the industries.
The more requirements, the more the industry gives. But is there a limit? Will the limit come from the cost? This could have been the solution if everybody had not thought of developing technologies to reduce the costs.
Today there are no limits to the imagination and no limits to the information technologies. Only the limit of the physics will (or what we know of the physics) could put an end to the requirements.
