This paper presents an effective technique that can substantially increase the accuracy and tolerance to the surface colors of objects for one-snapshot color-encoded structured light based three-dimensional imaging system. The technique uses the combination of color cross-talk compensation, bias adjusted centroid color line peak detector, and an effective line-by-line based calibration procedure.
