Abstract
Stability during braking in a turn is influenced by amount of yaw moment caused by change of tire forces. Various factors contribute to the yaw moment in moderate braking in a turn; steer and camber angles of tires, vertical loads of tires and braking force distribution, etc. The analysis, using the Road Simulation Method was the Vehicle Dynamics Simulator and the simple simulation by the Magic Formula tire model, has made it clear the quantity of the contribution of each factor to the yaw moment.
