Abstract
Today’s global, competitive markets have become catalysts for previously independent firms to link together into enterprise-wide supply chains. This paper addresses the practical application of four principles of supply chain management to an aircraft enterprise. It discusses the role of information technology as a key enabler in the practice of these principles among the enterprise trading partners.
