Protection of car occupants - state of interior safety and future improvements

Passive safety of car occupants is the number one priority of traffic victims in Germany: 60% of all traffic fatalities and 55% of all serious injuries occur to car occupants.
Therefore, even in future, interior safety is the major key to the reduction of traffic victims. The question is which measures are suitable. this paper will focus on some of the existing results of accident research.
