Chris Cook, Mobile Electronics Retailers Association David Wilkie, CNH Industrial SpA Todays workforce has changed, as past expectations have shifted with the advancements in consumer electronics. Young members of the workforce have grown up in the digital age with everything being connected and easily transferred between devices. The expectation is for every product and machine to be intuitive, easy to use and not break due to the wrong sequence of button presses. How should todays customer expectations influence product development? How should companies adapt? The panel will discuss the importance of considering User Experience (UX) and Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) in product designs and the challenges to overcome when designing todays sophisticated equipment.
