Green Aluminate and Red Nitride Materials

Intematix (Fremont, CA) has introduced two LED phosphor families: green aluminate and red nitride materials that enable high-quality white illumination when applied to blue LEDs. The phosphor families meet the material requirements for display backlighting and general lighting applications by offering an improved color spectrum and excellent color rendering to LED lamps. Intematix applied its proprietary accelerated materials discovery and development process, C-MAT Synthesis™, to develop the green aluminate and red nitride phosphors.
