SAE MOBILUS Accessibility

The SAE MOBILUS development team proactively strives to make the platform fully accessible to all users, regardless of physical abilities. When feasible, the SAE MOBILUS technical resource platform will adhere to Level A of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0).  Per WCAG guidelines, websites should be:

  • Perceivable: Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
  • Operable: User interface components and navigation must be operable. Available to all users through any available device and/or assistive technologies.
  • Understandable:  Information and the operation of user interface must be understandable.
  • Robust: Content must be robust enough that it can be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.

The SAE MOBILUS technical resource platform is routinely tested using WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool, NVDA screen reader, and W3C Markup Validation Service. In addition, our team is continuously evaluating and monitoring the SAE MOBILUS platform as technology advances. We understand that there can be occasions when users have trouble accessing the site.
