The revision updates the title to match the scope, updates the composition and reporting requirements (3.1, 3.1.2), removes the requirement for engineering approval (Table 2), updates macrostructure requirements (3.3.1.1, 3.3.1.2, 8.9), updates Jominy requirements (3.3.3), revises decarburization requirements (3.3.5), revises exceptions requirements (3.6, 4.4.4, 5.2.1.1, 8.6), adds finish notes (8.5), allows the use of prior revisions (8.7), and permits options for ordering forging stock (4.4.3, 8.9).
