Scope

Content: This specification covers a mixture of liquid hydrocarbons and soluble additives.

Rationale

Content: Revise fuel composition to adjusted/spiked Jet A Fuel per SAE G-9 committee discussion. Change will reduce cost, ease production, and maximize consistency with in-service fuel composition. Reverted to AMS2629B sulfur and mercaptan levels to address levels in global fuel supply. Reduced icing inhibitor concentration to current fuel specification limits. Corrected aromatic blend constituent volume percents.
