- J1922 is no longer actively supported by a current ECU and has been superseded by J1939 on all current North American trucks, but it is installed and working in thousands of trucks today. J1922 is being moved to a Non-current status, since it is not being implemented in new products, but still needs to be available to maintain the trucks that are using it.
