Rationale
This standard establishes the dimensional and visual quality requirements, lot requirements and packaging and labeling requirements for O-rings molded from AMS7276 rubber. It replaces AMS-R-83248/1 and maintains the part numbering system, M83248/1-XXX, established in MIL-R-83248/1 and continued in AMS-R-83248/1. It shall be used for procurement purposes.
